A wellness journal—not healthcare
Mama Bloom organises observations you enter and optional Apple Health data you choose to share. It is a period and cycle journal, not a healthcare service, medical advice or diagnosis. It is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict or treat a medical condition and is not a substitute for a qualified health professional.
Forecasts are estimates
Period ranges and personal patterns are estimates: they can shift or be wrong, are never 100% accurate, and can change with pregnancy, postpartum recovery, contraception, medication, illness and other circumstances. Broader uncertainty remains in the evidence receipt; a smaller headline is not a confirmation. Do not make a medical, conception or contraceptive decision from an app estimate.
Never a contraception answer
Mama Bloom is not a contraception method. It does not identify a safe day, measure contraceptive effectiveness, confirm ovulation, or confirm or rule out pregnancy. Use an appropriate test and professional guidance when those answers matter.
Records can contain mistakes
Check dates, classifications and shared reports. Missing days remain missing. Imported or wearable measurements can have their own limitations. A corrected observation keeps its revision visible.
Body observations stay observations
A user may keep body observations in the personal timeline. Mama Bloom preserves their source and does not combine them into a fertility status, fertile-window or ovulation estimate, conception-timing recommendation, medical conclusion or ovulation confirmation. Wrist temperature is not silently treated as basal temperature.
System shortcuts do not interpret your record
Widgets, Siri, Spotlight, Shortcuts and the Action button are entry points into the app, not clinical tools. They do not provide medical advice, confirm a forecast, or make a sensitive observation for you. Open and unlock Mama Bloom to review context and decide what to record.
Care comes before the app
Consult a qualified health professional before making medical decisions. If symptoms are severe, sudden, worsening or feel unsafe, contact your local urgent-care or emergency service and do not wait for an app threshold or forecast.
Acknowledging these limits does not waive legal rights. Marketing, screenshots and support answers must preserve the same boundaries.
