Is Tiny Things a to-do list app?
In a way: it is the to-do list for everything in your head. You pour it all out in about two minutes, decide where each thing belongs—yours, theirs, later, or let go—and only what matters comes back. It is not built to manage projects or a team, so it sits happily beside a calendar or a task manager.
How is it different from Apple Reminders or Todoist?
Those apps organise tasks and projects, often in lists you share with other people. Tiny Things is for the moment your head is full: it empties it, sorts it, and hands things over as an ordinary message, so the other person needs no app and no account. It has no shared lists, no calendar view, and no Android or Mac app. See the side-by-side comparison.
Where does a thought go after I save it?
What you keep for yourself or hand over becomes a small light around the moon on Home; tap the moon and What’s held lists each thing under the place you chose. Everything you set down, Let go included, stays in your readable, searchable archive, where you can edit, move, complete, or delete it—bring a finished thing back to Home, or undo a Let go you did not mean. Can wait is the one exception: it rests out of sight instead of waiting among your lights. It is still held and still readable in your archive, and once it has waited long enough it comes back to you, one at a time, inside a pour. Add a date and time to anything you are keeping and Tiny Things schedules a local reminder and keeps it in plain sight until then. The one thing that does not come back is a handoff you have actually sent: once it has left your hands it leaves your lists too, and remains only in your archive.
Is my information private?
Yes. There is no app account or analytics. Your data stays on your iPhone and, when available and enabled, may sync through your own private iCloud. No server we operate receives or can read your writing, audio, or exports.
Does my partner need Tiny Things?
No. Tiny Things writes a short message in your words and opens it for you to change; you send it yourself, through the system share sheet, in whatever app you already use. Plus adds a designed card alongside the text. Whoever receives it needs no account, no app, and no subscription, and is never contacted or tracked by us.
What is the first page?
After a few nights—three pours across at least two days, holding at least eight things—Tiny Things composes one page from your own history and keeps it. It counts what you kept, handed over, left waiting, and let go, and draws the stars those nights already made. It never reads your words. It arrives once on Home and lives in Settings afterwards. It is free, and it stays yours.
What does Plus cost?
Plus has monthly and yearly billing. Eligible yearly subscribers may receive a 3-day introductory trial; monthly has no trial. The App Store shows the current local price and confirms offer eligibility before purchase. You can cancel anytime in iPhone Settings, and Your Plus in the app always says where you stand: in a trial, renewing, or ending.
Can a reminder repeat?
Yes, with Plus. A Return can repeat every week, month, or year. Tick one done and the next is already waiting; let it go and the series ends. One-time dates and times are always free.
How does Family Sharing work?
The yearly plan supports Apple Family Sharing; monthly does not. It shares only Plus access. Each person keeps a separate private Tiny Things space, and no thoughts, reminders, skies, or iCloud data are combined.
Does it work with VoiceOver and the accessibility settings?
Reduce Transparency is honoured: cards become solid and the sky goes flat, carrying the same words. The longest animations go still with Reduce Motion. With VoiceOver you can move a thing, hand it over, edit it, or set a return straight from the thing itself, without hunting for a gesture. This is work we keep doing, and we will not claim more of it than we have actually tested.
Does Tiny Things have an Apple Watch app?
Not today. Tiny Things is built for iPhone—including iPhone Duo, where it opens like a book on the inner display—with Siri and App Shortcuts, Control Center, the Action Button where supported, Home and Lock Screen widgets, and StandBy. We will not claim a Watch experience until one is genuinely ready.
What is Smarter Nights?
An optional Plus feature on supported Apple Intelligence iPhones. Apple’s on-device model can suggest which destination a line belongs in. It stays off until you enable it, never saves facts about people, and never overrides your final choice.
What does “Begin it warmly” do?
It is an optional Plus feature for hand-overs on supported Apple Intelligence iPhones. Tap it, and Apple’s on-device model writes a short thank-you to open your message, from the person’s name and, as context only, the things you are handing over. Your things stay below it, word for word. The line is yours to change or delete before you send, and nothing about the person is saved by it.
A thousand tiny things can live somewhere else.
