Your words.
Your choice.

Saylight keeps your personal practice on your device.
This policy explains what that means, and what you control.

Who provides Saylight

Saylight is provided by Mama Bloom UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Oskarstr. 14, 01219 Dresden, Germany, registered under HRB 47918. This policy covers the Saylight app for iPhone and iPad and this Saylight website.

For a privacy question, contact privacy@mamabloom.app. For help using the app, visit Saylight support. You can also read the publisher’s Impressum (legal notice).

What stays on your device

Saylight stores the preferences you choose, including your optional name, focuses, tone, mood, energy, topics to avoid and current context. It also stores check-ins, delivered affirmations, explicit feedback, Keeps, your anchor, selected small steps and any affirmations you write yourself.

Artwork, narration and reminder preferences are stored locally too. These details help the app choose relevant words, remember what you have received and keep the experience you selected. There is no Saylight account, app cloud sync, advertising or analytics SDK. Saylight does not send this personal history to a developer-operated server.

Selection uses what you explicitly tell Saylight. It does not infer your emotions, diagnose you or train a personal AI model. A private local seed varies equally suitable choices between installations.

Current context, situation, life context, moment phase and requested support stop being used for new words after seven days. Expiration does not erase them from your stored history. You can edit your preferences, forget your current context or delete all Saylight data in Your settings.

Optional Apple Intelligence

Personal wording is off until you choose to enable it. On eligible devices, Apple’s on-device model can reword an authored perspective using your selected mood, energy, focuses, current context and exclusions. This feature does not send your prompt or wording to a remote Saylight model or a third-party AI service.

You can turn it off in Your settings. The authored affirmation engine works without Apple Intelligence, and Saylight keeps an authored version when personal wording is unavailable or does not meet its checks.

With Saylight Plus, the same Personal wording choice also lets a returning idea arrive in fresh on-device wording. It is always labeled as a return. If you use Help me write while writing your own affirmations, Apple’s on-device model suggests wording from the few words you type there, together with your tone and focuses. Suggestions appear only when you ask, and nothing leaves your device.

Listening and movement

Sol is a finite collection of 1,439 original recordings stored in the app. Exact matching words play from those recordings offline. Your own words, on-device rewording and the few wordings without a matching recording use a clearly labeled device voice. Saylight does not upload text to a live speech-generation service.

Optional device motion gives the artwork depth. Motion samples stay in memory on your device; Saylight does not record them in your history or use them to select affirmations. Decorative motion pauses with Reduce Motion, Low Power Mode or an inactive app scene.

Apple purchases, Health and reminders

The optional Saylight Plus purchase is handled by Apple’s StoreKit and your Apple Account. Saylight reads Apple-verified product ownership to provide the features you bought. Saylight does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple’s handling of purchases is governed by Apple’s privacy policies.

If you turn on Save to Apple Health (Saylight Plus), Saylight saves your check-in mood as State of Mind and completed listening rituals and quiet minutes as Mindful Minutes in Apple Health on your iPhone or iPad. Saylight only writes these entries; it never reads your Health data, and nothing is sent to a server. Entries already saved stay in Apple Health, where you can review or delete them. You can turn this off anytime in Your settings.

If you allow it, Saylight can read words in a Personal Voice you created on your iPhone or iPad. That voice stays on your device; Saylight only uses it to speak on that device. When you ask Siri or a Shortcut for today’s words, Saylight answers from data on your device; your use of Siri itself is covered by Apple’s privacy terms.

Daily reminders are local notifications requested only when you choose to set one. Their text is a generic invitation and does not include your affirmation or private context. You can turn reminders off in Saylight and manage notification permission in device Settings.

Widgets, sharing and export

When you add a Saylight widget, it can show the current affirmation from storage shared locally with the app’s widget extension. Personal words and focus labels are marked as sensitive so the system can respect your Lock Screen and Always On privacy settings.

Sharing is your choice. A share card or shared text contains the affirmation and an optional Saylight signature; it does not attach your check-in notes or history.

Export my data creates a readable JSON copy of your profile, history and preferences at a destination you choose. Recipients, destinations and copies you share or export are outside Saylight’s control. In-app import or restore of that export is not available.

Keeping or deleting your data

Local profile, history and preferences remain until you change them or choose Delete all my data. Deletion removes the app’s local profile, words, your own affirmations, Keeps, check-ins, feedback, reminder and personal settings, and clears the widget’s current words. It resets repeat protection.

Saylight Plus remains associated with your Apple Account and can be restored through Apple. Deletion inside Saylight cannot recall copies that you previously shared or exported. Your device’s backup settings may include app data; Saylight does not provide its own cloud backup or sync service.

To keep a copy before deleting, open Your world, then Your settings, then Export my data. To remove your local practice, use Delete all my data in the same place.

This website and support email

This website is an interactive introduction to Saylight. Its affirmation examples are public samples; it does not receive the native app’s personal history. It has no account or sign-up form, analytics or advertising script, and Saylight’s pages do not set tracking cookies. Artwork and scripts are served with the site. Typography uses your device’s fonts; no third-party font or library is loaded.

When you press play, the browser requests the chosen audio sample from the website’s host. Saving an affirmation card creates the image in your browser and does not upload it. Ordinary hosting requests can include your IP address, requested page or file, request time and browser information. These technical requests are separate from the private, on-device app experience.

If you email us, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send and use them to address your request. No app history is attached automatically. Please share only the information needed for your question; you do not need to send private check-in notes or your data export to ask for help.

Your questions and choices

You can access your local information through Export my data, change your preferences in the app and delete your local Saylight history at any time. For questions about personal information you have sent to the publisher, or to exercise applicable privacy rights, email privacy@mamabloom.app. We cannot access or remotely erase an app history that stays only on your device.

This policy describes the current app. Material changes to how Saylight handles personal data will be reflected here and, when needed, presented before you use a changed feature.
