Pace, Pleaseby Mama Bloom

Baby movement · free in Pace, Please

A baby movement tracker that puts your care team first.

Most kick counters ask you to reach a number. Pace, Please does not: every baby has their own pattern. It gives you a one-tap note, a separate session for the method your maternity team gave you, and a route to them that never waits for a log.Updated 9 October 2026

How it works

Care first, before any loggingAt the top of Baby movement: “Movement is less, stopped, or changed?” One tap opens your maternity contacts and urgent guidance immediately, without saving anything.

One noticed momentSave a single timestamp in one tap, with an optional note. It stays one moment — never turned into a count, a target, or reassurance.

A care-team sessionIf your maternity team asked you to track movements in a particular way, keep that as its own session using their method.

Moments you can correctCorrect a moment’s time or keep a private note. Every moment and session stays on your iPhone, and in your plain-text export when you choose to share it.

What it will not do

It sets no universal number of kicks and never tells you a pattern is fine.

If movement is less, stops, or changes from your baby’s usual pattern, contact your maternity team straight away — do not wait to log, count, or finish a session.

Questions

Is Pace, Please a kick counter?

It tracks baby movement, but without a count goal. The NHS advises learning your baby’s usual pattern rather than counting to a set number.

Is it free?

Yes. Baby movement, its history, and the care route are free and will stay free.

Does it listen to my baby or use a microphone?

No. Pace uses no microphone, sensor, or heartbeat feature. You note what you notice yourself.

What if movements slow down at night?

Contact your midwife or maternity unit straight away, at any hour. Pace’s care route opens your contacts in one tap.
